The Algem family of labscale photobioreactors were developed with one purpose in mind - to catalyse high quality R&D focused upon algae - by designing and delivering systems that work to support credible, reproducible research advances across the breadth of opportunities represented by algae technologies.

We realised early on that keeping these systems within Algenuity, to support Algenuity R&D only, was naive and narrow-minded.

Rather, by launching our systems into the market and making them available to academic and research institutions, culture collections and companies, we could, ultimately, achieve a larger impact over time, growing the entire algae opportunity.

The volume of peer-reviewed literature, conference proceedings, book chapters and review articles in addition to Masters and Doctoral theses that cite Algem are a testimony to the impact to date of our family of instruments.

We will update this reference list roughly twice a year.
